Kanungu, Uganda – Kanungu District’s aspiring Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Counsel Easter Majambere, has officially secured the NRM nomination to contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

In an interview shortly after her nomination, Counsel Majambere reaffirmed her commitment to tackling poverty and boosting household incomes across Kanungu District.
She pledged to lobby for development programs that align with the government’s vision for equitable service delivery and improved livelihoods.
Notably, prior to her parliamentary bid, Counsel Majambere has initiated several projects in the district, including a recent health camp, campaigns to build churches and mosques, and financial support to women’s groups.
With the NRM nomination in hand, Counsel Majambere is poised to take her message of development and service to the people of Kanungu, seeking their mandate to represent them in Parliament.
