NTUNGAMO, UGANDA – The Ntungamo District Senior Inspector of Schools, Fred Bahati, has encouraged schools to concentrate on three core domains of the education cycle: academics, discipline, and skills.

Bahati hailed the initiator, Ahairwe Kasiiba Denis, and the volunteers of Ruhanga Development Primary School for supporting government efforts in promoting education within the community.
He commended Ruhanga Development Primary School for its excellent performance among schools in Itojo Sub-county and the district at large.
Bahati also urged parents to enroll their children in schools they can afford, advising them against selling land and other properties before their children complete their education cycle.
The Patron of Ruhanga Development Primary School, Annah MC Cathy, urged the pupils to maintain discipline and academic excellence to achieve greater horizons.
The Director, Ahairwe Kasiiba Denis, commended the patron and volunteers for their support, highlighting the school’s remarkable growth from just 8 nursery children at its founding in 2005 to a current enrollment of over 470 pupils.
Ahairwe Kasiiba thanked the head teacher, staff, school committees, and parents for their cooperation and hard work, which enabled Ruhanga Development Primary School to excel in the PLE.
The Area Supervisor, Mujuni Naboth Kwesigaabo, hailed parents for entrusting the school with their children, ensuring that Ruhanga Development Primary School trains a whole child. He also thanked the volunteers for their support to the school and teachers.
A total of 31 candidates from Ruhanga Development Primary School attained best grades, including 12 who scored first grade, 14 second grade, and 5 third grade. The best student scored 8 aggregates, and the last candidate scored 27 in the recently released PLE results.
The head teacher, Joshua Eziwa, asked parents to consistently support school activities for sustainable development, ahead of the general meeting.
The function was marked by rewarding teachers and the 12 best candidates with mattresses and blankets. The event was attended by volunteers from Britain, teachers, parents, and religious leaders.
