Rajiv Ruparelia, Son of Businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, Dies in Car Crash

Kampala, Uganda – Tragedy struck early on May 3, 2025, when Rajiv Ruparelia, 35, son of prominent businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, lost his life in a fatal car accident at the Busabala flyover along the Entebbe Expressway.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire, the accident occurred at approximately 1:54 a.m. A white Nissan GTR with license plate UAT 638L crashed, overturned, and caught fire, resulting in a fatality.

Owoyesigire confirmed that investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the accident.
