RUKUNGIRI, UGANDA – The Rubabo County Legislator, Hon. Naboth Namanya of the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) party, has urged voters to trust individuals in elective positions based on proven performance, not promises.

Hon. Namanya began the day with a massive procession starting from Nyarushanje Sub-County headquarters. The procession proceeded through parts of Kisiizi, Omukinyinya, Nyarurambi, Kampala, and Nyakisoroza Trading Centers, culminating in the main rally at Nyakisoroza Playground.
Addressing enthusiastic masses of supporters who were chanting his name, Naboth Namanya urged the public to elect him for a second term as the Member of Parliament for Rubabo County.
He stated that trusting him again would allow him to continue and finalize his advocacy for good road infrastructure and many other projects in the constituency.
He described his leadership approach as capable and development-oriented, saying he was committed to transforming the area.
He urged people to elect him and all aspiring candidates on the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) ticket, a party he described as committed to eradicating corruption in Uganda.
He further outlined a number of achievements from his term in office, including: providing clean water to people, improving the education and healthcare sectors, and his ongoing advocacy for better roads in the area.
Also at the rally, former Woman Member of Parliament and aspiring candidate for the same seat, Hon. Betty Bamukwasa Muzanira, advised women to respect their husbands and urged men to love their wives as a way to foster development in their families.
Hon. Betty also issued a compelling call to parents, urging them to consciously instill moral values and cultural discipline, saying that it is essential for their children’s development and future contribution to society.
The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) party Rukungiri District Publicity Secretary, Innocent Rubarondesa, took the opportunity to urge the public to choose leaders who understand local challenges in their villages, and to not focus solely on money and religion.
