Echoing this sense of urgency, Kisoro Deputy RDC Dan Ndikumwami clarified that his office is preparing for immediate talks with the District Police Commander to discuss enhancing security and establishing a police post in Kamonyi Ward.
While acknowledging the current efforts of the police force, Ndikumwami announced that patrols would be increased in the affected areas to more effectively curb criminal activities and night-time threats along local roads.
He also issued a call for community cooperation, urging residents to adopt a proactive stance by protecting one another and responding swiftly to alarms rather than waiting for an attack to conclude.
