Speaking on behalf of the men, Paul Sendaga offered a glowing testimony of their experience, highlighting the stark contrast between the instability in their home region and the tranquility they found in Uganda.
He further detailed the excellent care they received, noting that provisions for their security, meals, and comfortable accommodation, including mattresses, ensured they slept without any difficulties.
“We are so grateful to our Ugandan brothers and sisters. The peace here is something we cherish. We slept without fear, which is a blessing we do not take for granted,” stated Paul Sendaga.

The women in the delegation, including Salama Olive, Zamukunda, and Tusenge Paskline, hailed the trip as a landmark event, strongly echoing the sentiment of gratitude.
They revealed that it was their first time visiting Uganda and that they felt warmly welcomed, adding that their spiritual journey was enriched as they “received Jesus Christ during the conference.”
While full of praise, the women expressed concern for their children’s welfare, stating the young ones struggled to adapt to the local staple diet of posho (maize flour) and beans, which was served for more than three days straight.
Citing the pressing dietary challenge for their children, the families requested permission to depart for the DRC before the conference’s official conclusion on August 31, 2025.
“We were loved and welcomed, and we received Christ. But our children could not eat the food. They are too young and are not used to it. For their health, we had to go back early to feed them,” women representatives stated.
