Kasese, Uganda – Rwenzori East Region FC emerged triumphant in a friendly match against Rwenzori TV, securing a 3-0 win at Nyakasanga Playground in Kasese Municipality.

According to Rwenzori East Region-Kasese Police Spokesperson SP Nelson Tumushime, the Region FC team’s goals were scored by Police Constable Omutuju Bilali, PC Wamboga Jackson, and SP Nyanzi Dennis.
Tumushime confirmed that a crucial pass from Regional Police Commander SSP Odoch Dennis to SP Nyanzi Dennis Kasibante sealed the team’s landslide victory.
SSP Muhumuza Alex expressed confidence in the team’s prospects, stating, “I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that Rwenzori East Region FC will win the upcoming IGP Cup Tournament 2nd Edition, given their impressive record of winning several matches both in Kasese and outside.”
In attendance were RDC of Kasese District Lt. JB Walusimbi, District Speaker, District Local Government Workers, and Senior Police and UPDF Officers.
