Bishop Twinomujuni said this on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, during the burial of the late Kanshoga Salome Diisi, a mother to Mama Lillian Ahimbisibwe, the wife of the South Ankole Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Nathan Ahimbisibwe, in Bwizibweera, Kashaari South, Mbarara District.

He hailed the children of the late Eriazaari Diisi and the late Kanshoga Salome for supporting and caring for their mother, the late Kanshoga Salome, and for burying her in a decent manner, something everyone should emulate.

Bishop Twinomujuni told mourners to always multiply their parents’ properties rather than selling them, and to love one another for the Kingdom of Heaven.

The sons-in-law, led by the South Ankole Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Nathan Ahimbisibwe, said that their mother-in-law was prayerful, kind, caring, and generous to all, and will be missed forever.

Bishop Ahimbisibwe hailed the people of Ntungamo District for supporting them during the trying moments as they were moving back and forth to hospitals.

All the children, led by Dr. Cranmer Mugatsira, Rodah, and Mama Lillian Ahimbisibwe, described their mother, the late Salome Kanshoga Diisi, as a true Christian who nurtured all her children in church, which enabled them to serve God.

Mama Lillian Ahimbisibwe noted that the deceased was a courageous, tough, intelligent, hardworking, trustworthy, and no-nonsense woman who will be cherished forever. Mama Lillian Ahimbisibwe hailed all people for supporting them.

The burial service was also witnessed by different bishops, including the Rt. Rev. Godfrey Mbiitse of Muhabura Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka of Kinkiizi Diocese, and the Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni of West Ankole Diocese, among other priests and lay readers.

The late Kanshoga Salome Diisi, aged 87, succumbed to blood pressure and stroke, leaving 9 children, 30 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
