Bishop Okello made the remarks on 9th December 2025 during a youth conference at Rukungiri Revival Mission Church in Omukakabada Cell, Northern Ward, Eastern Division, Rukungiri Municipality.

He challenged the youth to accept the gift of salvation, emphasizing that true peace comes from having Christ in their lives.

The Bishop further encouraged them to live lives worthy of the gospel and to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.

Bishop Okello noted that this is the 16th annual youth conference is for all Revival Mission churches in the Ankole and Kigezi regions.

He said the main aim of the conference is to guide and protect the hearts of young people for a better and more purposeful future.

He also urged the youth to stay productive, learn business skills, and avoid negative influences.

The youth chairperson of Revival Mission Church, who also serves as the Principal Town Agent of Northern A, Cosma Mujurizi, advised the youth to listen to their parents and maintain discipline, which he described as a key to success in life.

Mujurizi encouraged the youth to fear God and remain disciplined as the only path to achieving their future goals. He noted that the conference theme is drawn from Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”
