RUKIGA, UGANDA – A cohort of missionaries from Makerere University (MUK) has embarked on a spiritually enriching, three-day fellowship program in the Rukiga District.

The program opened with a teaching titled “Building a God-Centered & Covenant-Based Marriage,” followed by a session on “The Biblical Perspective of Love as a Basis of Marriage.”
The Parish Priest of St. Emmanuel Muhanga COU, Rev. Rutosha Jackson, praised the event, noting that the missionaries’ schedule is packed with a strong emphasis on selflessness and sacrifice in building strong families in Christ.
“I appreciate Hon. Dr. Benita Rumanzi for bringing missioners from the highly recognized Makerere University to charge the marrieds with the word of God, specifically meant to awaken them from their sinful slumber,” Rev. Jackson said.
Dr. Rumanzi stated that the three-day fellowship gives believers ample time to learn and build the strength needed to overcome challenges in their spousal relationships.
This significant outreach effort,the Rukiga Mission, is focused on strengthening marital foundations through biblical teachings to foster faith-based family units.
