The meeting drew a diverse cross-section of the community, including members of the business community, religious leaders, local council officials, education stakeholders, and the vibrant “Team Cadet Diehards.”

The primary objective of the meeting was to provide a platform for the electorate to voice their challenges and concerns directly to their representative.

Residents openly highlighted several pressing issues hindering the area’s progress, chief among them the critical lack of clean water, the deplorable state of roads, and growing concerns over local insecurity.

Listening attentively to the grievances, Hon. Cadet Buturo assured the people of Kyambura of his unwavering commitment to addressing these fundamental challenges.

He pledged to prioritize these issues in his legislative and development agenda, promising to work tirelessly towards improving the living standards of the community.

The MP unveiled a series of ambitious plans for long-term empowerment, announcing specific initiatives targeting youth and women that will include robust skills training programs and the provision of essential start-up tools to foster self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

Hon. Cadet promised to marshal support for the construction of new classrooms and the provision of much-needed furniture and other scholastic materials for schools within the area.

He cited vocational training as an essential pathway out of poverty, hunger, and family instability by equipping children to create wealth and become job creators, urging teachers and educationists to prioritize practical, hands-on skills.

“Vocational training is not just an alternative; it is a key pathway to fighting poverty, hunger, and family instability. We must equip our children with the skills to create wealth and become job creators,” Hon. Cadet emphasized.

The MP further extended his commitment to the economic backbone of the parish, promising to support local businesses, including farmers, traders, and artisans, to enhance their productivity and improve their livelihoods.

Hon. Cadet Benjamin Buturo called for unity of purpose, encouraging the community to work collaboratively to overcome their challenges, while also urging them to prioritize their children’s education.

The legislator appreciated the residents of Kyambura for their steadfast trust, reaffirming his dedication to being a servant leader who listens and acts on the needs of his people.
