KISORO: Police in Kisoro District are hunting for the suspects who allegedly assaulted a 15 years old boy defecating in his neighbor’s toilet who died instantly.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The Deceased identified as Gilbert Niyiduha is a resident of Kanyamicucu Village, Kirimbiro Parish, Kyanika town council in Kisoro district.
It’s alleged that on Saturday last week at around 12:00 PM, the deceased Gilbert allegedly defecated in the latrine home of the suspect one Niyonzima Amos.
Seen by the wife of the suspect, one Nyirangorore Mickline, informed the husband who in turn mobilized men and the suspect brought before him and canned 10 strokes.
The Kigezi Police spokesperson ASP Elly Maate said that thereafter, the deceased was taken to Claresenga Health Centre III by his mother where he died from.
The Police spokesperson said that the police were notified who visited the scene of crime, documented and statements recorded from the relevant witnesses and the body taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Maate added that the inquiries are at hand and efforts to trace for the suspects to be arrested are being made as the Murder case by Assault registered on CRB .005/2024.
