The facility in the sub county is among the few in the District that helps people from within the district and neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo.

Speaking to this reporter the Chairperson LC III Nyundo Sub County Fred Mutambuzi said that an agent support from the government is needed because any delay in establishing a toilet at the facility may greatly affect both the patients and the facility staff.

The chairperson added that the suspected facility staff, caretakers and patients themselves at the facility have resorted to using the nearby banana plantations and bean gardens at night, an act that is troubling the nearby residents.

Mutambuzi further said that the whole Village is at stake as there may be an outbreak of diseases like; Cholera, Dysentery and Typhoid affecting both the patients at the facility and the residents.
