RUBANDA, UGANDA – Rubanda ARDC Hillary Bindeeba has warned against Electoral Violence on polling Day and asked People to go home or Stay away from Polling Stations, at least 20 meters after voting .
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!While Speaking Yesterday, at Nyaruhanga C.O.U, Mr. Bindeeba the Assistant RDC in Charge of Rubanda West stated that the District Security Committee was ready to help the Electoral Commission deliver a peaceful and Stable 2026 election by ensuring that Police and Sister Security agencies are on standby for any eventualities.
Bindeeba explained that the major aim of asking those who have finished voting to stay away from the polling stations, was to maintain order and prevent any possible chaos that might compromise the integrity of the election process.
“Some Politicians are planning to distribute money on Polling Day and on Polling stations. This is part of what usually causes violence, and we’ll not accept it” he said.
