Bishop Ahimbisibwe emphasized that strategic planning, self-belief, discipline, and self-esteem are crucial for students to excel in their upcoming exams, reminding them that divine support remains their source of success.
He underscored that education in all its forms—formal, non-formal, and informal—holds the key to a better future, urging students to focus intensely on their studies to improve both their own lives and their families’ conditions.
“Education is the key to a better future. I urge you to focus on your studies to take your family to a good condition. Read hard and study diligently, for this can bring benefits to your families and communities,” said Bishop Ahimbisibwe.
Echoing the Bishop’s message, IMBASS Director Ivan Karabayi praised the prelate’s unwavering dedication to the school’s success while urging students to remain focused and calling on parents to provide essential support.
“I encourage parents to provide students with basic needs and to ensure that children can continue their education without interruption. When parents are able to pay fees, it prevents students from being sent back home due to financial constraints,” Director Karabayi stated.
Providing a strategic update, the school’s Principal, Mr. Dan Muhwezi, outlined the institution’s comprehensive readiness for the national examinations.
He assured the gathering that the school had thoroughly prepared its students for the new curriculum, including bringing in internal examiners to build their confidence.
Principal Muhwezi expressed strong confidence in the readiness of the S4 and S6 candidates, stating that discipline and faith would be crucial for their performance. He concluded with a rallying call for students to remember their larger purpose as future leaders.
“We have prepared our students well. I urge you to remain committed to your education, emphasizing that you are the future saviors of Uganda,” Principal Muhwezi stated.
The event served as both a spiritual send-off and a motivational rally for the candidates, uniting school administration, parents, and community leaders in a shared mission to foster academic success and shape the nation’s future leaders.
