According to the Public Relations officer of Kitanga Lions FC Mr. Hamlet Arinda, the promotion came as a result of several victories against most of the clubs from Western Region.

He added that Kitanga Lions FC will now be playing in FUFA western Regional league (3rd division) from FUFA 4th Division, playing with the likes of Ntonda FC, Rugarama FC, Rwampara Bulls FC among others.

“I am happy and the entire team is extremely very happy for the promotion. It’s not the first time our team has performed well, we have been doing well only had financial gaps to facilitate our movements. But we are doing a great move to secure more funds from sponsors, the MPs and other well-wishers” said Hamlet Arinda.

Hamlet Arinda added that they are heading for the semifinal that will be live at Bishop Comboni College Campus Playground in Kambuga.
