NTUNGAMO, UGANDA – The organizers of the Boxing Day “Comedy Mundongo” entertainment show have confirmed a spectacular, all-inclusive package designed for every category of person, from the young to the Adults at heart.

The Comedy Mundongo show, slated for December 26th this year (Boxing Day), is organized by Ankole Resort & Spa in conjunction with Radio Ankole 99.3 FM. It is expected to be the laugh-out-loud event of the holiday season.
Jacquie Rwakakooko, the General Manager of Ankole Resort and Spa, and Ann Rukutana, the Marketing Manager, confirmed that the show is well-planned to attract both the young and the old, featuring a wide array of entertainers.
They stated that the show was originally slated to happen back in 2020 but was disrupted by the global COVID-19 pandemic, which forced businesses and activities to slow down.
“This is more than just a show; it’s a celebration we’ve longed to share with our community. After a long wait, we are thrilled to finally bring this vision to life, bigger and better,” the two confirmed.
Immaculate Kyomukama, Chief Accountant for Ankole Resort and Spa and Radio Ankole, told the press that the show features a number of local entertainers as a way of inspiring and motivating them.
“This event is deliberately curated to feature a fantastic array of local entertainers. It is our way of inspiring, motivating, and showcasing the immense talent we have right here in our community,” Kyomukama said.
The Station Manager of Radio Ankole, Elly Katahinga, confirmed an affordable entrance fee of 5,000 UGX for kids, 10,000 UGX for adults, and 20,000 UGX for VIPs, a price he says is manageable for each category.
“These prices have been carefully considered to ensure that every segment of our community can afford to come, relax, and enjoy a day of pure entertainment without financial strain,” Katahinga stated.
The organizers promise a full day of wholesome fun, featuring a lineup of comedians and performers set to deliver non-stop laughter and memorable performances.
