Carrying a bunch of matooke worth 30,000 UGX to one of the visiting pastors, Hakim Semakula, Fiyadora Nyirabatsatsi, 77, from Gasovu village in Nyarusiza Sub-county, testified that she had been liberated from years of spiritual torment.

After years of enduring severe unrest and sleepless nights caused by what she believed were persistent evil spirits, Fiyadora attributed her newfound peace to the prayers of Pastor Semakula.

She testified that after receiving a “hot prayer” from him at the conference, she experienced immediate relief and enjoyed her first peaceful night’s sleep in a very long time.

“As an Anglican, I had sought help from many churches across Kisoro, but the problems never ceased—the spiritual attacks continued. Now, my search for peace has finally ended. I praise God for setting me free from that bondage, and I knew I had to thank His servant,” shared Nyirabatsatsi.

Pastor Hakim Semakula was visibly moved by the heartfelt sacrifice while receiving the gift thus praising her deep faith and held her up as a Christian example for recognizing God’s work.

“I thank Mama Fiyadora for giving from the bottom of her heart. The Bible teaches us that it is those who recognize the work of the Lord and give accordingly who receive true blessings. Let all believers learn from this wonderful example of thanksgiving,” Pastor Semakula stated.
