The call was made by Birungi Front, the Principal Community Development Officer of Kisoro Municipality and GLOW Project focal person, during a one-day workshop held at Car Net Hotel in Kisoro Municipality.

The workshop, organized by DFCU Bank, aimed to equip women with the knowledge and skills necessary to access funding through the GLOW Project, which is currently available through both DFCU Bank and Centenary Bank.

Birungi urged the women to use the funds responsibly, focusing on sustainable development that benefits not only their businesses but also their families.

The women who attended the workshop expressed gratitude for the training, stating that they learned how to access loans through the GLOW Project and establish licensed businesses that pay taxes, benefiting both the business owners and the government.
