Rukiga, Uganda – Residents of Rukiga district have given Dr. Sylvia Alineitwe a heartfelt welcome, kneeling down to ask her to represent them in Parliament as the woman member of Parliament.

The event, aimed at uniting the people of Rukiga as one family, was attended by notable figures, including Mayors, LC III Chairpersons, Councilors, Reverends, and Reverend Fathers.
They all showered support on Dr. Sylvia, praising her tireless efforts to champion development and empowerment of Rukiga citizens without discrimination.
Mparo Town Council Mayor Jimmy Kawaid led the delegation in endorsing Dr. Sylvia, citing her hard work and dedication to the well-being of the people.
Dr. Sylvia promised to cooperate with all kinds of people to develop Rukiga district, expressing gratitude for the acceptance of her ideas, such as individual development through Kabox, coffee seedlings, pangas, and hoes.
Dr. Sylvia’s commitment to Rukiga district is evident in her various initiatives, including supporting the construction of boreholes, rehabilitating protected well springs, and empowering women through the KABOX project.
Her dedication has earned her the trust and support of the citizens, making her a strong contender for the woman member of Parliament seat.
