The hopeful legislator was addressing congregants at the joyous ceremony for the opening of the new All Saints Church in Muhanga, held at the church’s new site along Muhanga Town Road.

Addressing the congregation, Katabazi emphasized that electing leaders from the ruling NRM party is critical to accelerating the development of the young Rukiga district.

“Electing leaders from the ruling NRM party ensures Rukiga has direct access to lobby for development at the highest level of government. I therefore urge everyone to rally behind NRM candidates, as this is crucial for our district’s swift progress,” stated Katabazi.

Presiding over the historic service, the Archdeacon of Nyabirerema Archdeaconry, Rev. Can. Manase Turyatunga, delivered a powerful sermon urging believers to build stability in their personal lives to better support the work of God.

He encouraged the congregation to live without fear through unwavering trust and regular prayer, assuring them that God listens and makes all things possible.

“With the divine filling our new home, let us move forward without fear, for with unwavering trust and regular prayer, everything becomes possible. God listens, and He will answer,” Ven. Turyatunga stressed.

The Archdeacon also extended heartfelt appreciation to the entire All Saints Church membership for their tremendous sacrifices and contributions toward the construction of the magnificent new house of worship.

The event was graced by prominent local leaders, including the Rukiga District Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oscar Akampurira, and the District Vice Chairperson, Hon. Jackline Nkamushaba, alongside several sitting and contesting District Councillors.

The service culminated in a festive atmosphere of thanksgiving, symbolizing new beginnings with the traditional cutting of a cake.
