Following the success of the previous camp in Rushaka, another three-day medical camp is scheduled to take place at Rutenga Health Centre III from Thursday, February 27th, to March 1st on Saturday

Counsel Esther Majambere confirmed to this reporter that the camp will provide free dental care services, family planning, cancer screenings, HIV/AIDs counseling, circumcision, and treatments for ear, nose, and throat conditions.

She added that the initiative aims to provide accessible healthcare services to those in need, promoting health and well-being in the community.

“Healthcare is a fundamental right, and it’s our responsibility to ensure everyone has access to quality services. Our free medical camp is dedicated to providing essential healthcare services, from dental care and family planning to cancer screenings and treatments, to those who need it most,” said Esther Majambere.

Majambere further encouraged the community to take advantage of this opportunity and spread the word about the free medical camp across the district.

The introduction of medical health camps in Kanungu district comes at a time when many residents struggle with various medical issues due to limited financial resources to access quality healthcare services.

Counsel Majambere’s efforts demonstrate her commitment to giving back to the community and improving the lives of its members. By prioritizing health and well-being, individuals can make a significant investment in their lives.
