Ntungamo, Uganda – The highly anticipated “Muhumuza Cup” football tournament, organized by prospective Member of Parliament for Rushenyi, Mr. Jonan A Muhumuza, kicked off on Saturday this week.

The inaugural match took place at Migyera playground in Ngoma sub-county, where Migyera parish FC faced off against Ruhara FC, with Ruhara securing a 3-point win after scoring a decisive goal in the first half.
At the tournament’s kickoff, Mr. Alex Mujurizi represented Mr. Muhumuza, emphasizing cooperation among participants.
Mr. Muhumuza stressed the tournament’s goal of developing young talents and enabling them to earn a living and avoid destructive behaviors.
Sam Musharaza Twesigye, chairman of the organizing committee, congratulated participants, highlighting the importance of engaging youths in constructive activities that foster growth and development.
