Kampala, Uganda-A rescue operation was conducted by the Police Fire and Rescue Services in Kampala, Uganda, after a 12-year-old girl, Kagimu Bossa, fell into a 100-meter deep well (shardoof) at Luwafu Abbas zone.

Fortunately, the rescue team managed to save the security guard, who was taken to Kirudu Referral Hospital for treatment.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is underway.
The Police Fire and Rescue Services have urged residents to exercise caution and guarantee that all wells and deep holes are properly secured to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.
