BUSHENYI – The Veteran Broadcaster and Journalist Felix Twinomugisha, popularly known as Felix Ekirengabazaana, has gone into hiding following a dramatic family dispute involving his wife and his mother.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Just months after his February release from prison over a bitter family feud, Felix faces escalated tensions, with his freedom sparking fresh accusations and threats instead of peace.
The celebrated news editor at Crane Radio Ishaka, famous for hosting the educational science and technology show Ebyafayo, reportedly went back into hiding as police launched a search for him.
According to his colleague Deus at Akaboozi Energy Drink, the broadcaster’s troubles began when his wife, Mellon Twinomugisha, took all his phones and laptop, and has now hidden them to block him from communicating.
“The broadcaster’s wife, Mellon Twinomugisha, took all his phones and laptop, and she has hidden them to prevent him from communicating. This has fueled new accusations and threats among his closest relatives instead of the peace we hoped for after his release,” Deus stated.
The broadcaster’s mother, Moreen Orikiriza, confirmed deep family fractures in a fiery telephone interview, accusing her son Felix of abandoning her for his stepmother and stepsister.
She vowed to use her influence to ensure he faces the full force of the law, adding that she controls his wife and wants her gone as well. Her explicit threats have raised serious concerns among work colleagues.
“I will make sure my own son is arrested and left to rot in jail because he chose his stepmother and stepsister over me. I control his wife, and she must go too. Over my dead body will he stay with that woman Jessica or her daughter Eva,” Orikiriza stated.
As the situation escalates, efforts to reach Felix Ekirengabazaana for comment have been unsuccessful. His phone remains off, and his whereabouts are unknown.
This is a developing story. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available…..
