Meanwhile, Minister Musasizi urged the youth to take advantage of opportunities available at the Kigezi Presidential Industrial Hub in Kamuganguzi, Kabale District. Musasizi revealed that President Yoweri Museveni has already begun fulfilling his pledge to establish Saving and Credit Cooperatives—SACCOs—specifically targeting graduates from the skilling hubs across the country
“For example, the SACCO in Rubanda has already been formed, and Shs. 50 million is in their account for utilization,” he said.
He further disclosed that each SACCO will have Shs. 100 million as a start-up revolving fund, allowing skilled youths to borrow money and repay it later, so others can also benefit.
