Speaking to this year’s pilgrims as she walked alongside them in Rugyeyo Sub County on May 17, 2025, Counsel Esther urged them to help one another with what little they have, emphasizing the importance of togetherness and faith.

She encouraged the pilgrims to use their pilgrimage as an opportunity to shun sin and pray for Uganda’s well-being, particularly in anticipation of the forthcoming 2026 political season.

Notably, Counsel Esther had previously demonstrated her kindness to the Kanungu pilgrims by transporting them back to Kanungu last year and had pledged to do the same and cater for their needs while in Kampala.
