As a cadre of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, Maniraguha made the appeal during a church service at All Saints Busamba Church of Uganda parish in the Diocese of Muhabura.

The parliamentary aspirant stressed that unity and cooperation are crucial for development, and thus called on Christians to rally behind him in the forthcoming 2025 primary elections to select the NRM flag bearer for the MP seat, emphasizing that collective effort can yield remarkable achievements.

In a gesture of support for the church, Maniraguha contributed 1 million shillings towards the construction of a pastor’s residence, a project that was launched on December 31, 2024, and requires a total of 400 million shillings for its completion.

During the service, Rtd. Rev. John Kajabwami delivered a sermon, encouraging Christians to persevere through challenges as they prepare for life after death.

He highlighted that Christians often face difficulties such as poverty, financial hardship, lack of trust, illness, and bias, but emphasized the importance of enduring through these trials.

Maniraguha’s contribution to the church project and his call for unity and cooperation have been well-received by the community, and he is hopeful that his message will resonate with voters in the upcoming elections.
