Addressing residents of Rugoma Village in Bwayu Parish, Nyamweru Subcounty, Musasizi who also serves as Rubanda East MP and District NRM Chairperson, encouraged supporters to stay united and focus on the party’s primary goals.

“Election outcomes are just part of the normal political journey; they should not divide us. Our collective mission is to rally even more support for NRM and President Yoweri Museveni than ever before.” Musasizi said.

He also urged supporters who did not win in recent polls to set aside their differences and collaborate with elected leaders to foster community development.

Musasizi used the opportunity to announced his second bid for the position of NRM District Chairperson, expressing confidence in victory.

“I am once again vying for the NRM Chairmanship of Rubanda District, and with faith in God, I believe success is within reach,” he declared. “Those elected will work alongside me, and together, we will serve all citizens with fairness and without discrimination.”  He added

District LC5 Chairman Stephen Ampeire Kasyaba echoed the call for unity, urging newly elected LC1 Chairpersons to play a pivotal role in healing divisions caused by the election process.

“Your duty as village leaders is to unite your communities and drive development,” Kasyaba urged.

He also reassured residents that the District Local Government will soon commence repairs on roads damaged during the rainy season.

“Once the rains subside, we will begin rehabilitating those roads,” Kasyaba assured.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude to Minister Musasizi for lobbying funds that facilitated the construction of key infrastructure, including the Habikyenzi–Kakyenaga–Nyamweru road and the extension linking Kyokyezo to Butanbi, vital projects aimed at boosting connectivity and local development.
