Kampala, Uganda – Taka Florence, the wife of Hon. Julius Maganda, MP representing Samia-Bugwe Constituency, tragically lost her life in a devastating road crash on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The fatal accident occurred at Kitukutwe along the Kiwologoma-Nakwero Road at around 5 pm involving two vehicles: UAX 937P Toyota Premio and UAM 516B Toyota Harrier.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Toyota Harrier had pulled over to the side of the road, and Taka Florence, the co-driver, had stepped out to load food items purchased from a nearby stall.
Tragically, the driver of the Premio, traveling in the same direction, lost control and rammed into the Harrier, pinning Taka Florence between the vehicles.
The Traffic Police Spokesperson SP Michael Kananura confirmed the incident said that Despite being rushed to the hospital, Taka Florence succumbed to her severe injuries.
Kananura added that the driver and co-driver of the Premio, PC Nuwagaba Wilber and ASP Atwebembere Achilles, both police officers attached to Kiira Division Police Station, were also injured and are currently receiving medical attention.
