The President congratulated the Abyssinia Steel Factory for fulfilling its commitment to building a whole factory, citing it as a prime example of industrial growth Uganda aims to achieve.

President Museveni said that the factory’s completion is a significant milestone in Uganda’s industrial growth.

He added that expansion of Jinja Airfield will enable tourists to reach their destinations on time, improve transportation for people and goods, and boost the local economy.

By upgrading the Jinja Airfield, the government aims to enhance the tourism experience, reduce travel times, and increase the efficiency of transportation for both people and goods.

The development is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and contribute to Uganda’s overall growth.
