From the Electoral Commission (EC) Rukiga offices, Hon. Dr. Benita Rumanzi Bushari was enthusiastically welcomed by vibrant supporters. They marched with him in a large convoy to Kiga College Bushari, where he joined a large crowd of supporters to launch his manifesto.

He then addressed a gathering of his supporters at the Kiga College Bushari prayer ground in Katungu village, Kibanda Parish, Kamwezi sub-county.

Demonstrating his firm commitment to revitalizing Rukiga’s education sector, Dr. Rumanzi cited his already established institutions as a clear testament to his dedication.

“My manifesto is rich in plans for developing education in the district. The education standards in the country are still low; uplifting them will be my first priority,” Dr. Rumanzi said.

Beyond education, the aspirant outlined a holistic vision for development, identifying the healthcare sector as a critical area requiring urgent attention and strengthening.

Dr. Rumanzi’s campaign is built on five key pillars: improving education, fostering economic development, and strengthening the health system.

His manifesto for the 2026-2031 term also commits to upgrading critical infrastructure, including roads, electricity, and schools.

Completing his development agenda is a focus on social welfare, with programs aimed at enhancing the well-being and inclusion of all constituents.

With this launch, Dr. Rumanzi has positioned his candidacy around a clear and actionable plan, asking the electorate to entrust him with the mandate to bring these development pillars to life.
