Kisoro, Uganda – The Mbuga-Buhayo PDM and UWEP Emyooga Association has been commended for effectively utilizing government funds to drive socio-economic transformation among its members.
Founded in 2018 with 13 members, primarily women, the association has leveraged government programs like UWEP to enhance financial stability and initiate income-generating projects.

At the SACCO launch ceremony held at Giseke Pentecostal Church premises on Wednesday, former Bufumbira South Member of Parliament, Hon. Sam Kwizera Bitangaro, commended the group for its exemplary utilization of government funds.
He highlighted that the SACCO’s initiatives have yielded significant results, transforming the lives of its members and contributing to poverty eradication in the local community.
