Rwampara, Uganda – Police in Rwampara District have in custody a woman in connection with the alleged murder of her husband, with whom they had had misunderstandings before.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The suspect has been identified as Kyomugyemo Dinavence, 53, a resident of Kaaya cell, Ngugo parish, Bugamba Sub county, who allegedly murdered Byakatonda Geresiano, her husband.
Sources indicate that Byakatonda, the deceased, left their home on March 16, 2025, saying he was going to church, and was never seen again.
His body was discovered the next day at around 7:30 am by students on their way to school in eucalyptus trees along the Binyuga-Munyere road in Kaaya cell.
A sniffer dog named Hector was brought to the scene and led the police to the deceased’s home, where they found an abandoned iron bar with bloodstains in the compound.
Further investigation revealed a white mosquito net with bloodstains hidden under a bed. The two are believed to have had misunderstandings, and inquiries and investigations are ongoing.
