Kampala, Uganda – A brazen robbery that occurred on Thursday, 23, January, 2025, in Kansanga, Makindye Division, has left a female mobile money agent shaken but fortunate to be alive.

According to police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke, first responders quickly contacted a nearby patrol car from the SWAT private security company, but the assailants managed to escape the scene.
However, in a breakthrough, the Uganda Police Force successfully traced and apprehended two suspects in connection with the robbery, who are currently detained as investigations continue.
The authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
The swift response of the Uganda Police Force in arresting the suspects has brought relief to the community and sends a strong message that crime will not be tolerated.
