Senior Police Officers awarded Master’s Degrees at Makerere University.

NATIONAL: Another set of 14 senior police officers have been awarded Master’s Degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies of Makerere University.

In a statement posted on Twitter ‘X’ Uganda Police Force named the graduates including;

1. CP Okoshi Simon Peter, Deputy Director Operations.

2. CP Kulayige Hilary, Deputy Director Chief Political Commissariat, CP.

3. Kihanda Hassan, from the Directorate of Fire and Rescue Services.

4. CP Munanurak Dan, from the Directorate of ICT.

5. ACP Musinga Norman, the Deputy Director Traffic and Road Safety.

6. ACP Kalule Abu, from the Directorate of welfare and production.

7. SSP Tesiima Catherine, from the Directorate of CID.

8. SSP Kuka Alice.

9. SSP Kusheemererwa Carolyn, a Legal officer.

10. SSP Sebuwufu Erisa, from the Directorate of Forensic Services.

11. SSP Okae Ben Geoffrey, RPC Aswa East.

12. SSP Temaiya Gertrude from the Directorate of operations.

13. SSP Gubira Gerald, RPC Greater Bushenyi.

14. SSP Kyangungu Apollo from the Directorate of operations.

After one completes his/her studies in Peace and Conflict Course which lies under the department of Political science, graduates can pursue roles like Mediator and Conflict Resolution Specialist.

Other roles one can undertake include; Humanitarian Aid Worker, Diplomat, Policy Analyst, Community Outreach Coordinator, International Development Consultant, Human Rights Advocate, Resettlement Officer, and Public Relations Officer.
