NATIONAL: The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party secretary general Richard Todwong has committed that the Secretariat will collaborate with various stakeholders to produce a clean, transparent, and reliable Party register.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Todwong said this on Thursday in a meeting, convened at the NRM Party Secretariat, to discuss the progress of the membership register, the electoral roadway, and other issues aimed at streamlining internal processes.
He said that they have a big task to guarantee the party register is smart, which will be used to conduct free and fair internal primary elections, both for structure and primary elections.
The NRM Secretary General, Richard Todwong, also held interesting talks with the executive of party district chairpersons before the meeting that was also attended by Counsel Enoch Barata, the Party’s Director for Legal Affairs.
At the beginning of this year, the NRM Party Chair President Museveni rallied members to join in the National Voters register Verification and update to be eligible to cast their voters in 2026 general elections.
