NTUNGAMO: The South Ankole Diocese 10th Annual Youth Convention has concluded with over 2,500 Young believers attending from across different denominations within the Diocese.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Held under the theme “Imitating God’s goodness by doing good”, the 2025 youth convention held at Kyamate Secondary school Ntungamo drew a variety of experts from different professions to educate and inspire the youths for laudable lifestyles.
Closing the convention, South Ankole Diocesan Bishop the Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe, said that youths are the future church and great leaders and if not properly guided in the right paths of life that would engender impact full and purposeful life in the society.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe reminded all believers that for the church and Nation to continue with Christian virtues there must be strong investment in the Young generation with the right word of God.
Flanked by his wife Mama Lillian Ahimbisibwe Bishop Nathan applauded Speakers for being articulate and asked youth to practice what they were taught before commending the parishioners for supporting the Convention.

Rev Canon Dr Duncan Mugumya the West Ankole Diocesan Partners coordinator who doubles as commissioner of Physical and sports in the ministry of Education and sports implored Youth to be closer to God and let His word be the standard of their lives.
Rev Patrick Kwariima the Muntuyera High school Kitunga Chaplain and Chairman Organizing Committee asked Youth to be good ambassadors in imitating God’s goodness while the Diocesan Youth coordinator Rev Asaph Mujuni hailed the bishop for investing in youth as the future church.

A renowned City Business Tycoon Advan Mbabazi who hails from Ruhaama East encouraged Youth to always embrace Christian values and avoid promiscuity as the only way to have a positive life.

The next year’s Annual youth convention was further Announced, also to take place from 8th- 11th January 2026 with this year’s convention bringing many youth surrendering to follow Jesus Christ.
