Kampala, Uganda – Police in Kasangati have arrested a suspect believed to be involved in a string of aggravated robberies and murders across various regions.

The operation, conducted on May 9, 2025, at around 10:00 p.m. in Bulamu Cell, Kasangati Town Council, Wakiso District, led to the capture of Imanantireganya Alfadudu, also known as “Congolese.”

According to Police spokesperson Rusoke Kitumba, the suspect is believed to have been involved in multiple crimes across the Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) area, Busoga East, Busoga North, Elgon region, Ssezibwa, and surrounding areas.

Rusoke confirmed that the police are currently investigating the suspect’s alleged involvement in these heinous crimes.

The arrest brings hope to affected communities, and the police are committed to ensuring justice is served, demonstrating their dedication to maintaining law and order in Uganda.

The authorities urge anyone with information about the suspect or the crimes to come forward and assist with the investigation.
