Ntungamo, Uganda – A tragic incident unfolded in Ntungamo District when a man suddenly collapsed and died during an intimate encounter with a woman, sending shockwaves through the local community.
The man, identified only by his occupation as a lumberman, died during an incident at Kellen’s residence in Kacerere, Nyarwanya Rubaare Town Council, around 2:30 PM on Sunday, June 15.
Eyewitnesses report that Kellen fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions, and is now being actively pursued by authorities in connection with the mysterious death.
The incident was first reported by Deus Byamugisha, the area vice chairperson, but was followed by a noticeable delay in police response that drew criticism from local leaders.
It was only after several minutes and a subsequent confrontation by Coleb Rweguuta, the acting LC III of Rubaare Sub County, that police officers at Rubaare Police Station responded to the scene, retrieved the body, and transported it to Itojo Hospital for an autopsy.
The local community has expressed concern over the delay in police response and the mysterious nature of the death, calling for swift action to apprehend the suspect and clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
As of press time, the police had not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
