improvements in key health indicators, showcasing the Government&#8217;s sustained commitment to strengthening Uganda\u2019s health system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Aceng underscored these achievements as foundational to the National Development Plan IV (NDP IV) and Vision 2040, framing health as a critical pillar for national development and human capital enhancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister made these remarks on Thursday as the Guest of Honour at a High-Level Dialogue on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and the Uganda National Health Compact, held at the Mestil Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister was joined by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Diana Atwine; Ministry of Health commissioners; and a wide array of development partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO), UNFPA, Seed Global, and CEHURD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dialogue also featured representation from several government ministries and agencies, including the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) and the Ministries of Public Service, Education, Finance, Local Government, Water and Environment, Agriculture, and Gender, alongside the National Planning Authority (NPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwine emphasized the strategic priority of securing long-term health funding, reinforcing the government&#8217;s dedication to mobilizing resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She emphasized that sustainable financing is the key to achieving Universal Health Coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also took a moment to express the government&#8217;s appreciation for the health development partners present, acknowledging their continued support and collaboration in the shared mission of improving the health and well-being of all Ugandans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event marks a critical step in solidifying
