We have created over 294 large industries, generating more than 100,000 jobs, spurring regional industrial growth, and boosting exports by 68.5%,&#8221; Dr. Muhumuza stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further emphasized that innovation commercialization and industrial value addition remain the government&#8217;s top priorities to sustain the current growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The gathering underscored a coordinated push to amplify the narrative of national development, bringing together key figures from Uganda&#8217;s economic and industrial sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attendees included Canon Benson Turamye, Executive Director of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA); Mr. Edward Katende, Executive Director of the Uganda Development Forum (UDF); Dr. Patrick Birungi, Executive Director of the Uganda Development Corporation (UDC); and Eng.
