Marriage stands when partners continue to see each other with fresh eyes, appreciating the beauty in one another. As humans, we have a tendency to get distracted, but it&#8217;s crucial to prioritize our marriages,&#8221; Bishop Akanjuna said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1748447502351-1024x630.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5061\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiator of the mass wedding, Mr. Kwasire Julius Mponoka, Assistant Commissioner at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), emphasized that marriage is a divine institution rooted in the story of Adam and Eve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He attributed the growth of the church to its adherence to traditions, including spiritual weddings that bring couples closer to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hon. Dr. Sylvia Alinaitwe, aspiring Woman MP, witnessed the ceremony and commended the couples for choosing to sanctify their union through God&#8217;s blessings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1748447733334-1024x634.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5062\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She also appreciated the Kigezi Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna for officiating the wedding, highlighting the church&#8217;s pivotal role in nurturing marriages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Alinaitwe presented uniforms to the newlywed couples, encouraging them to join the church&#8217;s Mothers and Fathers Unions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, Kamusiime Zadok, RDC Rukiga District, expressed concern over the alarming school dropout rate, which has risen to 74% in the district. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He urged parents to prioritize education and pledged to support initiatives that promote household income and development, regardless of political affiliations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notably, Hon. Caroline Kamusiime Muhwezi facilitated the dressing of all 63 bridegrooms with wedding attire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ceremony was also attended by Hon.
