{"id":3634,"date":"2025-02-12T11:11:46","date_gmt":"2025-02-12T08:11:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/?p=3634"},"modified":"2025-02-12T11:11:46","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T08:11:46","slug":"ucaa-intensifies-efforts-to-mitigate-aircraft-accidents-in-uganda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/12\/ucaa-intensifies-efforts-to-mitigate-aircraft-accidents-in-uganda\/","title":{"rendered":"UCAA Intensifies Efforts to Mitigate Aircraft Accidents in Uganda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Ntungamo, Uganda<\/strong> &#8211; The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority has carried out a search and rescue &#8211; aeronautical sensitization campaign in districts with high flight routes to various countries to respond to and mitigate emergencies in communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to David Mwitabangoma, the principal Air Traffic Management Officer &#8211; Search and Rescue at Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, who represented Director Bamwesigye Fred Kanyangoga, the campaign aims to increase awareness and enhance cooperation among community members to avert aircraft emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mwitabangoma made these remarks during the search and rescue &#8211; aeronautical workshop at Ankole Resort and Spa in Ntungamo Municipality, which was attended by political leaders, civil servants, Red Cross officials, and media representatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted that Ntungamo district is one of the districts where many international flights pass through to other countries, including Brazil and South Africa, which requires urgent attention to control aircraft accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Cue in &#8230;. RR<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Mwitabangoma-on-Flights.-RR.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The RDC Ntungamo, Byaruhanga Isaiah Kanyamahaane, commended the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority for revamping airline flights to various destinations worldwide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanyamahaane noted that the engagement will foster collaboration in case of any incident occurrences in communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He stated that the gesture will empower the community to prepare for and mitigate any flight emergency before it escalates and called upon all participants to report emergencies to the relevant authorities through proper channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Cue in &#8230; Kanyamahaane on flights.
