NTUNGAMO: Stakeholders and Residents within Rwenanuura – Kakukuuru Town Council have submitted proposal for the elevation of Rwikiniro Health Center III to a Health Centre IV status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Inquiry was submitted on Wednesday 15th January 2025, during the launch of revamping the facility at Rwikiniro H\/C III.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Rwenanura – Kakukuuru town council Mayor Mesearch Kahinda said that the facility is receiving many patients to seek treatment yet the Unit’s drug supply is low besides under staffing both crippling Service rendered at the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayor Kahinda added that once the facility is elevated to a Health Center IV status, they will be equipped with enough staff, machines and supplied with enough drugs to cater for the patients who come for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We have enough land to put more structures to expand the facility, I don’t know why the government is denying us the facility at H\/C IV status”. Mayor Kahinda lamented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The district Council Bibiana Kakinoni also the secretary for health in Ntungamo district Council in her response said that to elevate the facility, they will first do an inspection before the motion is tabled the District Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rwikiniro Health Center III as facility serves different people from neighboring Rwanda, it’s citizens of Rwenanuura – Kakukuuru TC and the neighboring Sub Counties around Ntungamo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
