Nets PDM SACCO Leaders Over  Extortion."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUMI: Police has arrested the executive members of Oladot Bee Keeping Parish Development Model SACCO together with the Parish Chief for conniving to ask for money from the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The arrested have been identified as Mr. Ityakorit Edmond, the parish chief of Oladot, along with Mr. Ojuma Anthony, the chairman of the Oladot Sheep Keeping SACCO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other are Mr. Ongodia Sliver, the secretary, and Mrs. Acham Teddy, the treasurer, who  are alleged to have solicited money from SACCO members for enrolment in the Parish Development Model (PDM) scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is alleged  that between June 2023 and May 2024, the executive members of Oladot Sheep Keeping SACCO requested payments from individuals to secure their status as beneficiaries in the scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this report, the Kumi RDC Mr. Washaki Muhammad and a team from the police at Kumi Police Station arrested the suspects and charged them with obtaining money by false pretence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has also  been established that not all members who were enrolled actually received benefits
