Shs. 4 million were today handed over to respective offices in a ceremony officiated by the Rubanda District LC.5 Chairperson Ampeire Stephen Kasyaba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG-20241204-WA0015.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2167\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Hamurwa T.C Mayor Teddy Tumwesigye, the money used to procure the laptops was part of the local revenue collected mainly from Hamurwa Marchandise Market, Karukara, and Hamurwa Live Stock Market. She added that other sources of local revenue for the Town Council include Trading License and Building fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brand new Laptops were given to the District Planning Department and Office of the Clerk to Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same event, a total of 17 twin desks were dispatched to Nangaro Primary School to improve learning conditions at the Hamurwa based Primary School. Ms. Tumwesigye also revealed that they had earlier sent 35 twin desks, each with a three students sitting capacity to St. Johns Ikumba P.S; located in Karukara ward, Hamurwa Town Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that the Rubanda District Local Government recently constructed a three Classroom Block at Nangaro P.s, also to expand learning space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>CUE IN&#8230; TUMWESIGYE ON COMPUTERS AND DESKS<\/strong><\/em> <strong>\/\/RR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/TUMWESIGYE-ON-DESKS-AND-COMUTERS.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG-20241204-WA0004.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2169\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Twin desks were dispatched to Nangaro Primary School to improve learning conditions.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking at the same event, the Hamurwa T.C Youth Councilor Emmanuel Arinaitwe said that they decided to buy computer laptops because for years, the Town Council had struggled to type and print council minutes and other documents with borrowed equipment from Kabale or Rubanda District Head Quarters. He also noted that Nangaro P.s was selected to benefit from the twin desks program after a monitoring team established that the School lacked enough seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>CUE IN &#8230;ARINAITWE ON COMPUTERS AND DESKS<\/em><\/strong> <strong>\/\/RR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ARINAITWE-ON-COMPUTERS-AND-DESKS.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rubanda District LC.5 Chairman Ampeire Stephen Kasyaba appreciated Hamurwa T.C Administration for considering the plight of pupils at primary schools under their supervision. He said that the initiative corresponds to the District Local Government\u2019s program in which they were also distributing twin desks and roofing materials to schools to support infrastructure development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year alone, Kasyaba\u2019s administration has distributed over 600 twin desks and 1,645 prepainted iron sheets to different schools across the District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Chairman commended the construction work done at the Hamurwa T.C Administrative  Building and asked them to expedite its completion for official commissioning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/westernpearlreports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/DSC_9911-1024x678.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2172\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chairman Kasyaba commended the construction works done at the Hamurwa T.C Administrative  Building  <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Construction works for the second floor which commenced in February this year, were almost complete with a few items remaining to qualify for commissioning. Money for construction totaling to Ug. Shs. 100 million was reportedly lobbied from the Central Government, by State Minister of Finance and area Mp Henry Musasizi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Hamurwa T.C Planner, Jim Kyomukama, the second floor had been roofed, doors and windows installed and the next phase which is the final, would include installation of glass shutters, and building of the
