KANUNGU – The Minister of Health, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, has encouraged university graduates to uphold integrity and discipline as foundational pillars in all their future endeavors, both personal and professional.

He reminded graduates that true education rests not on academic excellence alone but on the character forged along the way, urging them to carry integrity and discipline beyond the university walls.
He commended parents for their unwavering sacrifices in guiding their children to this milestone, while charging graduates to let those values anchor both professional pursuits and personal lives.

The Minister pledged to support the university’s digital transformation by introducing digital boards to enhance teaching and learning, before donating 10 desktop computers to bolster information technology infrastructure.
Uganda’s 2nd Deputy Prime Minister and Guest of Honor, Dr. Crispus Kiyonga, challenged academicians and graduates to actively drive national development by fighting corruption, promoting peace and security, and advancing infrastructure.

He reminded the gathering that knowledge carries great responsibility, urging intellectuals to serve as society’s conscience by using their education to foster transparency and build a better Uganda for generations to come.
Dr. Kiyonga emphasized the urgent need to extend health services to village levels across the country, while encouraging the university to strengthen community outreach and improve healthcare delivery in rural areas.

The Second Deputy Prime Minister, in a generous show of support, donated five million Ugandan shillings to the university to bolster its continued growth and sustainable development.
