RUKUNGIRI, UGANDA – The six districts of the Kigezi sub-region have received projectors and smartphones through a donation from the Rwele Foundation, facilitated by Pastor Samuel Ogutu on behalf of Bishop Joshua Rwele.

Each of the six beneficiary districts, Kanungu, Kabale, Rukiga, Rubanda, Kisoro, and Rukungiri, received one projector and one smartphone.
The equipment is intended to empower local church coordinators to spread the gospel more effectively at the family, sub-county, and district levels.

The Regional Overseer of the Born Again Pentecostal Churches in the Kigezi sub-region, Bishop Onesimus Byengoma Ngoboka, explained the broader vision is to extend technological support to every sub-county nationwide.
He added that the ambitious nationwide initiative aims to forge a digitally connected, live-streamed prayer network, fostering spiritual unity across communities.

Beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude for the support. Pastor Edward Tumwine of Shalom Bible Fellowship Church in Kabale District highlighted how the equipment will revolutionize his ministry.
He noted the projector will enable live-streamed prayers, powerfully gathering more people and bringing them closer to God, especially those unable to attend services physically.
