The call was made by Ngabirano Joseph Kasenene from the NRM Secretariat while meeting members of the MIU Kisoro NRM Chapter at the university hall in Kamonyi Ward, Northern Division, Kisoro Municipality.

Ngabirano said his visit was aimed at engaging chapter leaders on the importance of rallying support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to serve another term in office.

He emphasized that peace and stability are key reasons why Kisoro District should continue supporting President Museveni, noting that the district borders the Democratic Republic of Congo, a country that has experienced prolonged conflicts.

Ngabirano further stated that the establishment of Metropolitan International University took place under the leadership of the ruling party, adding that students’ support for President Museveni demonstrates their contribution toward promoting national development.

He urged the guild leadership and chapter members to strengthen mobilization efforts by spreading the President’s manifesto to increase chances of victory in the forthcoming elections.

He noted that enhanced cooperation and coordination with senior NRM leaders could create opportunities, including easier access to employment.
